Safe Indoor Spark Fountains for Weddings, Parties and NJ Events by SCE Event Group
The SCE Event Group is now proudly offering Safe indoor spark fountains at Weddings, Parties, and Events in the New Jersey, New York and Phildelphia areas. This new offering by the NJ Based SCE Event Group could be the perfect complement any wedding, party or event. The spark fountain technology used by the SCE Event Group is newly available to the marketplace and is a refreshing alternative to the traditional pyro based solution used before 2017 at events. SCE's spark fountain solution is a way to add a dramatic impact to any milestone moment of any event - and if you take a look at the awesome in the photos or video below you will see exactly what we mean.
Offered by the SCE Event Group in increments of 2 with a maximum of 12 units - this cost effective and safe pyro effect has created an incredible buzz in the New Jersey Wedding and Party market. If you are interested in obtaining a quotation on the spark units for your upcoming event or celebration, please contact the SCE Event Group.
The technology itself is incredible and replaces a traditional spark fountain display that typically burns at twelve hundred (1200+) plus degrees, by creating a cold spark that produces the effect at the temperature of sixty-two degrees. There are numerous benefits of these new spark units - like the ability to control the height, duration and pattern of the spark fountains with the units technician utilizing a special control box. The sparks generated by the units produce no smoke, do not cause any smell and are completely non-toxic. The units are controlled by a professionally trained SCE technician that has been certified by the manufacturer of the units and has undergone extensive safety training for operation. Speaking of certification, the units owned and operated by SCE have been certified by the CSA organization, and this is important for insurance reasons and piece of mind for the safety of the guests in attendace and venue itself (there also is a knock off brand or two on the market that has not gone through the extensive government controlled process).

My journey. 7 Years of SCE. Authored by Jason Jani.
This morning I woke up and was reminded of how incredibly fortunate we are at SCE. Seven years ago today, I left a successful path working in corporate america as a manager of an engineering team to pursue the dream of doing really cool events for super cool couples. Without a business plan, and the thought of creating a company, SCE was started after years of working independently and for others. I wanted to do more for the couples and companies that trusted me with some of their coveted life events.
My dream was to create something special, something unique and something different then what people in general in the private event industry were doing or accustomed to experiencing. Coming from the night life world, I was never able to fully embrace some of the ways private events were typically handled and I felt that people deserved more. It was more than just business and contracts, being a DJ was a way of life, something I truly loved for many reasons.
Average is not what I was about, and good was just not ever good enough. Over the years of working in the nightlife world, I was able to fine tune my ability to play music to impact the overall vibe of a venue. In doing so, I developed the ability to learn how to impact the feelings of people hearing my music. It didn't matter the religious background, age group, social class, music is a universal language that can impact your experience in any situation. Being an MC, although important, was second to the craft of being a DJ in my mind and in my world. I felt that knowing what to play and when to play it is a the key to separating yourself from the wolf pack in the DJ world. I thought by taking that mindset and including production and theatrical elements while listening to my clients and making their thoughts a reality... I could make magic happen in the private event world for couples that truly wanted something special. I wanted to challenge SCE couples and clients to think bigger, to expect more, to dream bigger, to desire the very best, and we at SCE would work around their unique vision to materialize an event that truly embodied all that makes them who they are. If I had to move a mountain for someone to make their perfect day come together, I would do whatever I needed to do so that I jump-kicked their vision in the face and they were proud of what we created for them.
People that plan events today, want and desire the best, and using a unique boutique influenced approach to bringing ideas and services together, would allow SCE to make that happen, one event at a time. If the industry did packages for services, I wanted to offer an a la carte menu. If everyone wore a tux, I wanted to wear a suit with sneakers. I wanted to be the opposite of whatever the standard was, and wanted to work to push the creative bar higher and in different directions every time we had the opportunity to host an event.
So after a few years of thinking of changing my life and becoming an entrepreneur - I left my stable career path in corporate america, and all the perks that came with it, to work much harder, much longer hours, and for a lot less, to live the dream. With a young family, and a very supportive and pregnant wife, I rolled the dice in the most challenging economic climate of my life and here I stand, seven years later incredibly happy and blessed that everything fell in my favor. I will never forget telling Andreia, my wife, and my parents of my crazy ideas of starting what is now SCE. Friends, and co-workers in the engineering world - didn't think it would last. Many people didn't think the private event world was a stable life choice or environment to live. I wanted to thrive and I have always been determined to change people's perception of the industry one event at a time. I believe that anything is possible as long as you are willing to work hard for it. I even tattooed the word "believe" on my arm, because the word means everything to me. Since I left the telecommunications industry, it has been an incredible journey, I could not be more thankful for some of the amazing opportunities that we at SCE have been afforded.
It was not and has not been easy. There has been so much that has gone into creating what is now known as the SCE Event Group. I have lost some of what I thought were good relationships and gained some great relationships that I will cherish until the end of time. I have been hurt, I have been burned and I have learned to forgive... I have learned to listen, to be patient and that consistent hard work is the key to being successful. Being talented, and having the drive to work hard (and ethics to do the right thing) - gives you the power to punch the world in the face and rise above the pack. I have learned that you are a product of who and what you surround yourself with and I have learned to care about things I once may have thought were not important. Always be good to everyone in your world, and always appreciate someones hustle. I have learned not to make excuses and to deal with situations and issues as challenging as they may be immediately - regardless of the outcome. I have learned to trust my gut, and that the little things matter, I have learned to never settle, to never give up, to never except average and to never do something that doesn't feel right.
The positive experiences have far outweighed the challenging times for me with SCE. These are just some of the things that come to mind and I hope can help influence your day in some way. The experience I have had at SCE is something you can't get in school and has allowed me to understand a lot about life, a lot about myself, a lot about people and a lot about who are true friends.
Looking back, regardless of the struggles, the ups and downs, I would not change a thing.
SCE has become a lifestyle for the team that call it home. Its more than work, its more than a logo with a pink sexy dot - it's a family, one that I am proud of to be part of and one that I am proud to have been able to create. It's not a trendy name that I picked out of a hat, it's so much more then that. The SCE Event Group is a team of talent that has come together organically over time because we all embrace a mindset that makes us different from anyone anywhere. It didn't come together overnight, everyone has their own story and style they bring to the table. Our team, is made up of an incredible group of people that I have endless amounts of admiration and respect for, that truly care about the little things that truly matter. From the Event Hosts, to people in the office and everyone that hustles for SCE and Snapshot, without you, my dream and this business could not be what it is.
We offer people planning events - solutions, and we have options - a lot of them. Our service portfolio at SCE is now limited to the imagination, and if you can dream it, we can truly make it happen. I am very proud of that.
Over the past seven years, we have literally helped thousands of people celebrate life in so many different capacities all over the world. From the East coast to the West Coast, North America, The Caribbean, Central America and even in Europe, we have been part of some super dope events. These are opportunities that when I made the jump from corporate america to this world, I never thought or could have imaged would be possible, and things that I am incredibly proud of. From working with A List celebrities and artists like Jimmy Kimmel, Kanye West, Arianna Grande, Jay Z, Guns & Roses, and Red Foo etc.... to being featured on television, in magazines. To being sought after by companies that impact industries like Wedding Wire and Mobile Beat Magazine and so so so many others from all over the world, it has been a blessing to say the very least. Mentoring the new generation and inspiring peers in the private event world to do more, and to be better has been an incredible experience that we and I personally am incredibly thankful for. Over the past seven years, we have developed some incredible relationships with some of the nicest and most talented professionals in the world who work in and around our industry. Receiving referrals from colleagues and venues that we work with or along side is something to this day we are beyond thankful for and truly humbles our team to no end.
It's been 7 years, and to this day I feel like we are just getting started here at SCE.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people that have trusted SCE with their events in every portfolio area we provide event services. Special thank you to the industry professionals that have and continue to support SCE, to refer their clients to SCE, and of course for all of the amazing rock stars that make us who we are at SCE.
As we look to 2016 and beyond, we are pumped to say we look forward to all that is on the horizon.
Thank you, thank you, and thank you.
Much Love.
- Jason Jani
SCE Event Group Takes the #MBLV20 DJ Conference to the Next Level: Mobile Beat Las Vegas
For the second year in a row, Jason Jani and the SCE Event Group helped produce the largest Private Event DJ Conference in the world - Mobile Beat Las Vegas - #MBLV20. The conference was held in at the Tropicana resort in Las Vegas - March 13th - 17th, 2016.
Jason Jani served as the Entertainment Director as well as the on stage performance DJ for the entire event. This show was a milestone for Mobile Beat Las Vegas (MBLV) as they were celebrating its 20th year of hosting the Las Vegas based get-together and the 25th year of the actual magazine. In addition to Jason Jani, SCE also used Jeff Scott Gould and Joe Pags for Event Capture, and Tony Tee Neto for voice over production.
The production value was top notch with professionally-programmed intelligent lighting designed by Jeremy Brecht and the Chauvet DJ team, large projection screens to simulcast presenters, sound provided by Electro Voice and outstanding content from a list of speakers that brought an immense amount of information to the audience of DJs from around the world. Attendance was exceptional with nearly 1500+ DJs, private event company owners, and employees soaking in knowledge over the 4-day event.
Jason & the SCE team worked tirelessly in the weeks and months leading up to the conference on securing high-profile keynote speakers, celebrity acts, music programming between presenters, and even an introduction video looking back through the years of highlights from the past conferences. Attendees were treated to visuals showcasing Vegas’ history leading up to and including a montage of MBLV’s 20-year history, all presented with a Rat Pack kind of vibe.
Jason opened the conference musically with his signature-style Open Format program, engaging everyone from the beginning. Set up at center stage, the performance DJ role was truly was a focus over all four days for the attendees.
SCE also created the opening video segment that was synchronized with live interactive hosting and performance segments, including SCE’s Tony Tee Neto. Clips of Frank & Elvis performances were augmented by real-life impersonators around the room and a awesome lighting ambience that blended seemless into the video visual content.
It wasn’t long before there was a “battle of skills” on the turntables (or lack thereof!) with Entertainment Experience cofounder Bill Hermann. Engaging, funny, and self-deprecating, it was a great way to start things off.
One of Jason’s (and the conference’s) highlights came on Day 2, when he was able to have an honest and enlightening on-stage interview with LMFAO’s Redfoo (did you know he’s Berry Gordy’s son?!). ‘Foo discussed everything from how he got started producing music, to his ‘process,’ to branding and being the “Ultimate Party Rocker!” The actual interview from this segment will be posted soon on our site and mixcloud page.
Another major highlight was the VIP performance event that featured Redfoo and his Party Rock Crew, VIC (known for his song "The Wobble") and SCE's Jason Jani. Jason opened the event, played in between artist performances and hosted the event. We have included a segment of his opening open format set below for you to hear.
Presentations at #MBLV20 spanned a wide range of topics from marketing to bookkeeping practices, branding to mixing techniques, and everything in between. Every speaker offered something to make each professional better— perspective, technique, style.
Another highlight was Bar Rescue’s John Taffer speaking for an hour from his perspective. Having owned several bars and other businesses, he brought an informed, passionate, and direct conversation that hit to the heart of what we do!
In addition, Jeff Scott Gould and Joe Pags were n site to capture the action with the SCE Media crew. The conference ended with an SCE total event recap which incorporated all of the call out items of the 4 day conference and wrapped it into a 3 minute video. The video wowed the attendees as the perfect way to end an awesome experience.
If you want to get an idea of how it all looked from the inside, simply click or search #MBLV or check out the recap video produce by SCE and that we have posted below.
We’re so proud to have been a part of this conference for another year. Thanks to all the professionals who complimented our production online and in person. The members of SCE work hard to break the stereotype and raise the bar of the entertainment industry.
If you are considering taking your upcoming conference or event to another level, and would like to consult with our creative team, please give us a call... 888-278-0900 or complete the contact us form on this site.
SCE Event Group helps energize WeddingWire World 2016, with Jason Jani
SCE Event Group Helps Energize WeddingWire World 2016, with Jason Jani
We’re so proud of the fact that when Wedding Wire wanted to take their #WWworld show to the next level, they called on SCE Event Group and Marquee Open Format DJ Jason Jani.
For 2016, “World,” as it’s come to be known, is in it’s ninth iteration in just five years. It’s become a staple for the wedding industry, as Florists, Planners, Catering Venues, Photographers, Entertainment companies, and all wedding professionals seek to learn, share, and become even more valuable to their clients.
Almost 2000 attendees participated over 3 days in Washington, DC, as they learned from CEOs, Brand Managers, athletes, and even outright celebrities! And providing the musical cues, segues, and even some live introductions, was SCE Event Group and Jason Jani. We were excited to lend our production value and perspective to this exceptional industry conference, as we contributed not only in the spotlight but behind the scenes.
The setup, located right next to the main stage, showcased our DJ Decor. White lacquer DJ furniture made for a gorgeous showpiece and set expectations as soon as attendees walked into the hall. The variety of music was a huge hit, providing a backdrop for intros, outros, and breaks, spanning decades and genres that appealed to everyone at some point!
Jason was assisted by SCE Event Host Tony Tee Neto, who helped coordinate and manage the backstage scene including timing cues and talent coordination. Images and visuals were captured by Event Host Jeff Scott Gould, assisted by Event Host Manny Caraballo.
The 3-day learning event wasn’t all business, though. On Tuesday, Jason headlined at Pose Rooftop Lounge playing an open format like he loves, allowing attendees, show producers, and fans to really let loose! It was a great way to blow off a little steam, take in some great music, and … well, network over drinks, of course!
One of the highlights came on Day 2, when Wedding Wire’s Chief Marketing Officer, Sonny Ganguly, asked the SCE team to participate in his talk on “The Evolving Tech Landscape.” As he spoke about Virtual Reality and its relevance to our industry (yeah!), we used one of our new “360-degree cameras” to capture the entire room in one scene. It’s so neat to see, that you should watch for yourself! (
We had an amazing time bringing our flare to this awesome conference. Getting the nod from inside the industry repeatedly is a huge compliment and a testament to what we strive for— push harder, do more, expect more.

How to find the right DJ Entertainment: Part 5 of 5
_______________ How to find the right DJ Entertainment: Part 5 of 5
by Tony Tee Neto: SCE Event Host & Audio Specialist
By the final part in this series, you’ve chosen a few candidates to host your wedding celebration. And in the end, it really is about the music bringing everyone together for an amazing time!
You love music?! SO DO WE! It’s actually at the core of our lives, considering we pack dance floors weekend after weekend for a living.
So when it’s finally time to wrap up planning, definitely review every detail. But ...
- 5- Don’t Try to Program 4 Hours of Music
There are two extremes when it comes to choosing music for your reception, and neither is necessarily a good approach to programming the event. At one end, you personally need to plan every song, maybe even certain ones in a particular order! And at the opposite end, your DJ won’t allow any input from you and is certain that last week’s playlist will hit a home run … just like the week before.
In both of these cases, neither party is allowing for any organic flow during the reception. If the couple has given an exhaustive list to the DJ that programs exactly 4 or 5 hours, they’ve eliminated the very reason for getting a trusted entertainer behind the music … or any human, for that matter.
When this is the case, there’s no room for moments to evolve, and your DJ’s creativity is completely restricted. Not to mention, you’ve created a lot of work for yourself in the process. This often comes from misunderstanding the role of your wedding entertainment, and what they can actually bring to the table to make your reception a success, besides “just playing any song.” And if it comes from the perspective that you don’t trust what they will play, then you should go back to the first part of this article and start the search over.
Conversely, your DJ should ask for input on your taste and style of music. If not, then I’m sure he does this every weekend, the exact same way, and he’s the “rockstar.”
But you probably didn’t want a “cookie cutter” for a DJ, right?
I’ll always ask for a Top 10 or so of “Must Play! I have to hear these songs at my wedding!” Those are the songs that make your reception, yours! Yes, I believe I bring plenty of experience to the table, but it’s important that I weave who you are into what I do! The event is yours, and it should reflect that.
I’ll even ask for a “Do Not Play these, because they’re nails on a chalkboard”-List. I don’t want to be murdered at the reception.
You should look for an exchange of ideas— and your choice in entertainment should also welcome that. By sharing your very special songs that trigger a memory, you’re giving us what we need so that we can use our experience to work them into what we do. And THAT’S how you get amazing moments that create unforgettable celebrations!
Hiring a professional wedding entertainer (and all other wedding professionals, too) allows for the ultimate goal: to have an amazing, stress-free wedding day! You work ridiculously hard to plan this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and you should reap the rewards of an awesome day! By taking the time to ask the right questions and connect with the right professionals, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy the day!

So you’ve vetted your choices and narrowed down the candidates. You want to get to know them a little bit. Once you schedule that important meeting into your calendar, what can you expect?
- 4- Our First Date: Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Expectations of first meetings with wedding entertainment can vary wildly. I’ve spoken with couples who think we’ll be talking about music for an hour. Most will also ask, “What are your packages?” You might even ask what I wear to the event! These are valid assumptions for topics of first meetings. But you should expect a little more out of your “first date.”
At SCE, we think that talking about your wedding celebration should be more than presenting packages, collecting a deposit, and eventually showing up to play music.
After a little small talk and establishing common ground, I simply pose a question: “So, what do you see for this celebration? Do you have a vision, or are you a blank canvas?”
And I wait.
Often, couples will be a little stumped, as they’re not prepared for such an open-ended question without direction. But shouldn’t you expect your entertainment to skew their approach to your vision, to make the event truly “yours?!”
If you’re not given the opportunity to share your thoughts, how would they know?
That gets back to how important it is to meet with your actual entertainer. Hopefully, you’ve found someone you really like, and you want to convey that you’d prefer a more subtle approach. Or even the opposite, where you want it completely over the top … and they need to know that!
This really should be a first date, as we get to know you and you get to know what we bring to your event. In the end, you should have a pretty good idea whether or not your (potential) entertainer “gets it.”
By the way, if you’re a “blank canvas,” it’s perfectly fine. The SCE Team and I understand that you become an instant “party planner” overnight, and we’re psyched to help. I personally love sharing thoughts, perspective, giving suggestions, and helping you decide on options. Because ultimately, it’s not about just playing music for a few hours. It’s about creating a great experience as you plan, and eventually executing an amazing celebration for all.

So far, I’ve given you a couple of thoughts on how you might choose the right entertainment company for your wedding celebration. Starting the process by doing a little research on them is a great first step in narrowing down the search. And setting up a get-together with the actual person who’ll be responsible for bringing your guests together on the dance floor will help determine if there’s chemistry.
But maybe just one more question before confirming that meeting ...
- 3- Full-Time or Part-Time?
Once you’ve found a candidate to host your celebration, make sure to ask whether your entertainer is a full-time wedding professional, or if he does it “on the side.” There are plenty of newcomers and even some experienced DJs who have regular employment and play weddings on the weekend. Maybe they do it as a hobby or for extra money.
We completely understand, and we’re not knocking it.
It could become an issue, however, when it comes to timeliness in communication and responding to your emails or phone calls. A response from his “daytime desk while the boss isn’t around” isn’t really professional, nor does it exude confidence that they’re paying attention to your needs. Perhaps paperwork gets misplaced or lost in the shuffle without a dedicated work space on their part. Maybe details get overlooked because of lack of focus on your event.
Very often, this is also the biggest factor in determining your entertainment’s cost. When your DJ is lightly invested in your event and treats it like “extra money,” they will usually charge accordingly.
On the other hand, a full-time, reputable wedding professional is completely dedicated to their clients’ satisfaction and dependent on making that day a complete success!
The point is that your wedding entertainment professionals should take your celebration details as seriously as you do. Speaking personally, this is my livelihood. It’s my career. So our reputation depends on planning and playing an amazing celebration with our Rockstar couples!

In the last segment (IF YOU MISSED IT CLICK HERE), I stressed how important it was to start off by vetting your entertainment professional. Exploring your network and doing a little research can help you find just the right one to make your celebration amazing and stress-free.
Once you’ve found a likely candidate, make that call, send that email, and set up a chat to get to know each other. Most companies will encourage a face-to-face meeting at their office, like we do at SCE. But we understand that everyone’s time is valuable, and this is a pretty busy period in your life on top of your regular day-to-day. So, we happily entertain FaceTime or Skype calls. It’s almost as good as being there in person, and you can be in your most comfortable (and convenient) surroundings. Even a phone call can tell you a lot about whether you’re a good fit.
So, when you do set up that date ...
Confirm who you’re meeting
We’re proud of the fact that when you decide to meet one of SCE’s talented professionals, you’ll be meeting the Event Host of your choice-- the very same one who’ll be with you during your planning process; and the one who will be there for you on the big day! We think it’s so important to explore chemistry and establish a relationship right from the start, and I personally love this part. At SCE, we dont do sales people, we dont try to push you into decisions that you may not be ready to make. We want you to learn about who we are, how we are able to do what we do, maybe even show you recent video footage of us in action at your venue and of course, answer any questions you may have about the celebration that we can.
You might find that another company has set an appointment with a salesperson. If you’re comfortable with that, then treat this as an informational session. Get a feel for how the company does business, their approach to planning your celebration, etc. It’s still a good idea to meet your actual DJ/MC. Everyone’s personality might not click right away, so explore the relationship.
Your choice of Master of Ceremonies and DJ ultimately reflects on you, so get to know each other a little bit and make sure you’re comfortable with your choice. And it all starts with that first handshake.

You’re engaged?! CONGRATULATIONS!
The excitement of the moment is overwhelming, and soon (or even immediately), you’re surrounded by friends and family who want to celebrate the moment with you both! Champagne; tight, warm hugs; smiles and bright eyes everywhere!
Planning this once-in-a-lifetime celebration is all at once exciting and overwhelming. With so many choices in Wedding Professionals, how do you figure out which one’s right for you?
You’ll find yourself faced with a seemingly endless array of choices for your DJ entertainment, with variables in every aspect— from pricing to experience, deposit requirements to payment schedules, from packages to an A La Carte approach … right down to how much say you have in the music to be played.
Over the next few articles, I hope to give you a little guidance on what to look for in our particular are of expertise: DJ Wedding Entertainment. I’ll keep it pretty simple, and welcome your questions and feedback to tony@sceeventgroup.com.
So …
- Finding the Right DJ Entertainment, Part 1- Vet your entertainment
With so many choices, how do you know who’s who and who’s worth your time?
- Your friends - Your friends’ experiences with their entertainment is probably one of the most reliable testimonials you can get. Maybe they had a phenomenal experience and are raving about who hosted and played for their event ... perfect! On the other hand, it’s also invaluable advice if they had an experience that was less than excellent.
- Facebook - the great thing about this Social Network is that, depending on privacy settings, you’ve got access to your Friends and your Friends’ Friends! One post could potentially reach a lot of people you don’t even personally know, and they might have some great advice for you. Ask them to leave referrals or advice in comments. Encourage more sensitive comments to go via Private Messaging.
- The Knot and Wedding Wire - These wedding-oriented forums are a great resource for word-of-mouth testimonials from past Brides and Grooms, and not just for entertainment! When targeting a particular professional, get a feel for consistency throughout all of their reviews; one excellent review shouldn’t cut it. For example, SCE has around 900 reviews! You’ll want to look for what’s consistently being said about your potential wedding professional. If you’re looking for a particular entertainer within the company’s reviews, simply Command-F (Mac) or Control-F (Windows) in the browser, and you should be able to search a name within the page.
- Google is your best friend! - We understand the power of the Internet Search Engine, and we’re sure you do, too. When you search for either general terms or specific companies or entertainers, you’ll get a ton of results. Take the time to check each site, and see if they match your vibe. And when you find those slick “demos,” watch them for consistency. Better yet, look for vLogs (video blogs) that show the entertainer in their “natural habitat!” This is your opportunity to peek into one of our events ... without actually crashing the wedding! These will come through Google results, and likely take you to YouTube, Vimeo, or a specific website’s link.
Dig plenty in the beginning! This is the first but massively important step in choosing the right entertainment for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration!

Jason Jani of the SCE Event Group earns international Master of Ceremonies honor
Jason Jani of the SCE Event Group earns international Master of Ceremonies honor and admission to the Wed Guild® Monday, December 22nd, 2014
We are delighted to announce that SCE Event Group founder, Jason Jani has earned the international Master of Ceremonies honor with admission to the WED Guild® and title of Wedding Entertainment Director®.
The WED Guild® is an internationally industry respected organization that was created by Peter Merry in 2001. The WED Guild® was created in hopes of changing the public’s "sometimes" negative perception of wedding DJs. The title of Wedding Entertainment Director® was used as opposed to DJ focused terminology because the role of a certified Wedding Entertainment Director® expands well beyond just playing music and/or making announcements as the Master of Ceremonies. The Wedding Entertainment Director®is about the ability to produce incredible events by delivering the very best quality in service and all around performance.
Becoming a Wedding Entertainment Director® is no easy task, and only 24 people currently hold this prestigious title in the wedding entertainment industry, internationally. The WED Guild®'s application process is an in-depth journey to identify an exceptional Masters of Ceremonies using a peer-reviewed analysis that includes many layers like reviewing essays, past event video samples, previous client and industry colleague recommendation letters, and a final interview consisting of 5 members of the current WED Guild® talent roster and the current term president of the group (see the full application at http://wedguild.com/
Jason Jani of the SCE Event Group noted about the process, "The process to become a Wedding Entertainment Director® was not easy, it really made me look at things I have done for my couples in a different light". "It's the beginning of a new journey for me in this profession... it allows my couples to know that I am committed to continuing my education and training in this industry, and will open up in terms of creativity options for my personal performance events.", says Jani.
To summarize the qualities needed to obtain this prestigious accomplishment and title, WED Guild® members are evaluated on the 7 essential areas of expertise needed to obtain the prestigious title of a Wedding Entertainment Director®: Comprehensive Personalization, Creative Involvement, Event Direction, Talent as a Spokesperson, Music Programming, Appropriate Presentation, and Quality Amplification.
