About Chris Atwood

Bio: Chris Atwood is a veteran open format DJ & event host who’s passion is providing excitement to couples planning their wedding along with delivering energy to nightlife events. His experience helps create the perfect soundtrack to a wide variety of clients, events and taste.

Starting in his childhood, Chris was involved in theatre and as he studied theatre at Kean University, he was introduced to DJ’ing and was instantly hooked. Hosting celebrations combined all the aspects of theatre he loved: performance, audio, lighting, and production. His involvement in theatre help tune his charismatic style on the microphone and influenced his creative outlook on hosting celebrations.

After college, he continued hosting both private and nightlife events. In his many years in the industry he has gathered some notable accomplishments including:

Although he still loves to host events, Chris has expanded his creative interest into media. He not only helps create the content for SCE but also extends his services to small business to help them reach their marketing goals.

In his spare time Chris enjoys cooking, being outdoors, craft cocktails and shaking his groove thang to house music, R&B and throwback hip-hop. Chris considers himself an old soul that just loves to put smiles on people’s face.
